Dive deep into the practices of yoga and dharma in this next iteration of the Yoga & Dharma Immersion. We will be exploring the qualities of an awakened heart: loving-friendliness, compassion, joy, and equanimity. An emphasis will be placed on embodied, experiential learning in order to make the biggest impact in your daily life as we continue to navigate uncertain times and shift from winter into the summer.

Topics will include:

  • Working with difficult people

  • Staying steady as life goes up and down

  • Finding joy for others rather than jealousy and competition

  • Balancing compassion for self and others

Each twice monthly meeting will have a variety of practices and modalities such as yoga asana, pranayama, mudra, mindfulness meditation, yoga nidra, small group inquiry, and Buddhist thought.

We will meet every six weeks in person in the East Bay at the Berkeley Yoga Center. There is an outdoor space so we can do some of our time together outdoors. Vaccines and testing will be required for each in person meeting. The remaining meetings will be on zoom. This group is limited in size to promote connection and depth of inquiry.

Between meeting support is provided through audio recordings of our zoom meetings, practice suggestions, optional readings, audio listening suggestions, and Ashley's 5 weekly Zoom classes (also open to the public). Readings from Christina Feldman’s book, Boundless Heart, will be a support to your practice.
